What we collect

When you book a class, send an enquiry or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number and any details you choose to share (such as wedding date, preferred lesson times or song choice). We also keep a record of your bookings and communications.

How we use it

• To deliver the service you've booked (run lessons, confirm dates, send reminders).
• To reply to your enquiries and messages.
• To send occasional updates about ALTA Dance classes and events — only if you've opted in.
• To comply with legal and tax requirements.

Who we share with

We don't sell or rent your data. We use trusted processors to run our site and send email (hosting providers, Google Firebase, Gmail / SMTP). These providers process data on our behalf under UK GDPR terms.

How long we keep it

Booking and enquiry records are kept for up to 6 years to satisfy HMRC requirements. Marketing subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@altadance.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working. We do not run advertising trackers.

Photo & video

We only use photos or video of you on our website or social channels if you've explicitly given consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
